Awesome Stem

Got the 70mm but exchanged for the 60mm. Good solid construction. Fast response on turns. Went down a super steep descent today and the stem, Cane Creek headset and OneUp preload didn’t even twitch. Solid!

It Fits!

I had a RF cry-mo Turbine stem from 1995 on a RF Airolite bar - had to refit for a new Atlas handle bar, so why not go back to the updated version? Works great!

Stem Sell

This is a nice stem, is light, and looks great. Not a burly appearance like some other choices. I was skeptical of the opening left in the sides where it connects to the fork steerer tube since I wasn't sure the tube condition would be nice enough to see. Turned out to not be a problem - All good!

Faceplate Cracked

This has been a great stem, however I took it off the bike a few days ago and found that the faceplate is cracked right through front to back alongside one of the bolt holes. OK, it's had quite a lot of use over 3 ½ years, but only XC and trail rides. Like Alex I've only ever tightened the bolts to the specified torque and I weigh around 70kg. I wouldn't expect the stem to have failed in this way.
