Great grip, but not very durable.

These Chester pedals have Great grip. But surprisingly, one pedal broke off the spindle. I was surprised, because of the reviews and how durable they seem. I was only road riding when it happened and there weren't too many miles on the pedals as well.

Hi Derek,

We are sorry to hear about this scenario with the Chester pedal. We have seen little to no issues with it so this may be an isolated case. We will reach out to you offline with some options.

Best Regards,

Ice build up

Use these beauts on my fatbike. Big fan of the foot landing and grip. I pulled the pins on one side to avoid extra chance of pins destroying my shins. Jury is still out if the hassle of finding the pin side is worth it. I wanted to write this review to see if anyone else has experienced ice build up across the pedal axle during a winter snow ride. My foot arches up over the ice and my pin grip feels compromised. Is there something i can do to avoid the ice build up? Once it was there it wasnt coming off until i got the bike indoors.
