This is my 2nd pair! Why do I like them? Great protection from sun and any trails with tall grasses that may be hanging over the trail. So comfortable you can't tell you are wearing them. They do not have any hard plastic to protect you from rocks. Best for cross country type trails.

As stated in the description, these pads are for scrapes, abrasions and the like. Not for big impacts. That being said, super comfortable to pedal in. Kinda disappear. Light weight and easy to store because they are not bulky.

It doesn't protect anymore than long pants would. Useless product unless you just want to look like you have protection and I can not return because RaceFace won't respond to my email.
