I took advantage of a sale to purchase some nice components for a bike I had yet to buy. I am still a few components away from a full kit, so wheels remain in the box they shipped in. I have had some experience working on the Turbine SL wheels at the shop where I work, which prompted me to purchase a set for this upcoming winter project. But as other reviewers have also mentioned, the persistence to submit a review is sometimes premature as not everyone is ready to slap their new parts right onto a rideable bike as soon as they arrive.

I wanted a decent XC wheel for my hardtail that would do its job without complaining. Bomber hub (with instant engagement!) plus an offset alloy rim equals a wheel that will not let you down. Bonus, it feels lighter and quicker than I expected. Highly recommend.

Nice light wheels for Yeti ASR XC - light trail riding. I was concerned about the internal 25mm rim compatibility with Recon 2.4s but this set up rides great and looks good.

Great wheels, upgraded from a basic wheel set to the Turbine SL. Bike is now more agile, holds lines well, rolls quicker. Wheels seem durable in rock gardens, over granite. Tubeless set up was easy. Oh ya, and really quick hub engagement.
