I wanted to love these pads, I really did. I've owned a pair of Roam Knee pads and they have been awesome - saved my knees on several occasions. Unfortunately, the first time I went down and my elbows contacted the ground with any force, the bottom of the guard slid up *above* my elbow and left me with a 4" by 6" section of missing skin.

Some context on the crash: I was only going 10-15 mph and landed in loose Idaho shale. I wasn't bombing a double-black at 40 mph or anything.

Context on the elbow pad fitment: my biceps and forearms are 1" *greater* in circumference than what the size guide recommended for the size I purchased. I went down a size to avoid this very issue.

In short: buy these if you want the psychological feeling of protection, or to protect against shock impacts, but prepare to loose a lot of the skin that's under the pads if you go down and slide.

Low price , good quality but really tight.

Arrived damaged, looks like a quality control issue. I understand. But they have not replied to multiple email attempts to the support email. Avoid this product and avoid this company.

I have always had good experiences with Fox, so I’m pretty disappointed that isn’t carrying over.

Love these for lighter riding. Have a pair for a few years and the the strap loops never tore out. This new pair tore out within several rides. Not a deal breaker, still useable.
