Great shorts, love the fabric. Having the pockets face back is amazing, so much easier access then facing front. The fly design is really good too, love the strap and velcro combo, much better then a zipper, the strap is very easy to use and is the perfect length. Very well designed and super functional shorts. These shorts are really comfortable and definitely will cover over knee pads, and I really like the ratchet buckle. For me personally I would have preferred a little shorter inseam and a little more tightening ability around the waist. At 6'2” with a 36” waist the XL are baggy on me. But otherwise great short.
