The Era handlebar was designed from the ground up, narrowing the stem clamp area to allow both a quicker taper and an earlier rise to achieve our meticulously researched Goldilocks (GL) tune. GL tune is the sweet spot for compliance preferred by most riders; stiffer was too harsh, softer was too flexible.

Less trimming. More comfort.

Trimming bars makes them stiffer and ultimately, less comfortable. Instead of making only 800mm lengths and expecting riders to cut them down, we made six carbon bars in your size and rise, all hitting our GL tune for reduced fatigue.

Strength in numbers.

We took nearly 100 individual pieces of hand-laid carbon fiber and bound them using a toughened epoxy resin, with a specific layup for each bar variant. The result is the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any handlebar we tested.

The bars themselves are very nice but I wish the markings to help you adjust the roll were a little more clear. Also it's difficult to find the maximum torque specs for stem/cockpit components. Maybe there was a spec sheet that came with the bars that I threw away accidentally though.

Right rise and right width

Right rise and right width, without cutting. Increased my rise and lowered my stack to gain a silly few more mm of reach. Stealth graphics for me!

great bar

great bar. I'm fully onboard with the higher rise/higher stack setup, and can also report the bar is nicely compliant and comfortable. Compared to the stock SCOR brand carbon bar on my 2030, this is much more easy on the hands. I also have a OneUp carbon bar on another bike and while direct comparison is tough across bikes, I think the Era bar is more comfortable to me.
