Evan Guthrie

Athlete Bio

Evan grew up riding around picnic tables on a bike with his father and played every sport possible in school, Evan scored on his own hoop in a basketball game and soon retired from that sport. At age 12, Evan entered his first bike race - a BC Cup - and in the one hour race finished last, a whole 15 minutes behind second to last place. I'm sure his parents questioned his athletic capabilities by this point. Cycling became his passion and escape to his happy place in the mountains. He grew up dirt jumping after that first race but somehow the shaved-leg-spandex-racing is where things ended up. Evan now races XC and Enduro and looks forward to working with Race Face for the 2017 season.
