Race Face Ambush or Roam take your pick

This is my second set of Roam Knee pads. I also have a pair of Ambush pads. I wear both pairs around my ankles for the first climb of the day. Once I pull my Roam pads up for the first decent I generally leave them up for the rest of the day...the Ambush pads I tend to drop for each climb. Subtle difference - I really like both. My first pair lasted two years and then felt a little stretched and started moving around a bit. I have never had either pair of RF pads move on me in a crash - and yet they are pretty scraped up. I wouldnt switch to another brand at this point
