Take on a complete traverse of the Alps from the Northern foothills in Germany to the Southern slopes in Italy. The eight-stage route, specifically selected to take in attractive vistas as well as technically challenging bike trails, leads teams of two through the most beautiful mountain ranges of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Covering a distance of roughly 600 km (385 miles) and a vertical gain of 19,5000 m (65,000 ft.), this race caters to pro riders as well as ambitious amateurs wanting to test their limits.
Official team rankings, worldwide media exposure, and a large purse create a genuine race ambience while encounters with nature and opportunities for cultural exchange guarantee a highly emotional event.
