We started today’s stage to the traditional TransAlp theme song of Highway to Hell. We were both looking forward to this stage because we knew it was the shortest stage with the least climbing. Perhaps a rest day? There is no such thing at the TransAlp!

Stage 3 of the TransAlp was to be the second longest stage of the race. The course profile described it as starting with a LONG 30 km climb with the last 5 km being the steepest. There was then to be a steep downhill and mostly rolling terrain to the finish...
